"From A to A, back to the beguinning"

Like the cracks that appears after a earthquake

the certainties of our world also collapses

and even if we remain clung to our believings, the time for the questions arise is now

Won’t be necessary to go away when the course is chosen

An option is return on our steps ...

In the series “From A to A, back to the beginning”, I work around the idea of destroying to create again, based on the concept of a “Whole” present in everything, and underlying their connection and driving an endless circle of continuous creation and destruction.

​

"If we had to choose an essential element, able to trigger of beginnings and creations, that would be the System”.

Systems can be found everywhere and at any scale:cells, society, economics, weather, constellations, … and are the responsible to generate a pattern of behavior, and when this behavior is perturbed the system is transformed reaching a new state characterized by a new pattern of behavior.

Our current systems have failed and new ones are coming… Maybe, in this moment of changes is when we should consider what really works for us and leave behind what doesn't

The lines that trace already known landscapes will be diluting, the marks will vanish and the absolute truths and unalterable dogmas will disappear.

It’s time to question ourselves, to overthrow castles, to transform our view, open doors instead of close them

Based on these thoughts, the artworks in this series seek to run away from unalterable and overwhelmed plots with lines becoming more vaporous but more active at the same time. Like water and ground move, like a continuous and unstoppable flow, these lines unravel the knots that don’t let us go forward … fraying ideas, as if it was a cloth, to reweave them again but this time more transparent ...”

"De A a A, de vuelta al principio"

​

Igual que nacen las grietas cuando tiembla la tierra,

las verdad de nuestro mundo también se desmorona,

y aferrados a lo que creemos es hora de que nazcan las preguntas.

No hará falta irnos, en momentos de decidir el rumbo,

una opción es deshacer los pasos...

​

 

En la serie "De A a A, DE VUELTA AL PRINCIPIO" trabajo sobre la idea de deshacer para rehacer de nuevo, basándome en la idea de "un todo" que configura todas las cosas, sus redes de conexión y su comportamiento circular de creación y destrucción contínua que se puede apreciar en todas las escalas visibles.

"Si tuvieramos que buscar un elemento clave, indispensable y desencadenador de principios y creaciones, ese sería el SISTEMA.

Los sistemas tanto a nivel celular, social, político, son los que generan una matriz de comportamento y cuando este comportamiento se modifica , se altera y cambia, es cuando los sistemas se transforman creando un nuevo patrón .

 

Nuestros sistemas han fallado y otros nuevos estan por llegar... quizás en este momento de cambio sea cuando nos tengamos que plantear que es lo que realmente nos sirve y lo que no, dejando atrás lo que no nos interesa.

 

Las líneas que configuran los paisajes ya conocidos irán desdibujándose, deshaciéndose las marcas, borrándose las verdades absolutas y los discursos inalterables.

Es hora de hacernos preguntas, de derrumbar castillos, y transformar la mirada, de habrir puertas en lugar de cerrarlas.

 

Por esta razón, intentando huir de las tramas definidas y contundentes, la pintura cada vez se va haciendo más vaporosa y sin embargo más activa, menos exacta y rotunda, como si del movimiento del agua y de la tierra se tratase, en un fluir constante y poderoso, desenredando los nudos que no nos dejan avanzar... deshilando ideas, como si de una tela se tratase, para volver a tejerla, aunque esta vez más transparente..."
